What is that wonder? Our Owocudo is a juice of a smoothie type. And what is the smoothie? The smoothie is a mixed drink made from natural ingredients: usually from fruit and juices, but sometimes also with addition of chocolate, peanut butter or green tea. In some smoothies, frozen or chilled fruit are used. Then the drink looks like a milk shake, but differently than a shake, it does not contain ice-creams nor milk.
Many smoothie recipes are based on bananas which give them velvet, cream consistency.
Actually, where does it come from? History of the smoothie dates back to the late 1960's - when some teenager began working at a restaurant in New Orleans. Unfortunately allergy to milk and diabetes did not allow him to taste fruit cocktails, which he prepared for guests at the restaurant. Therefore by the method of trials and errors, he worked out his own recipes, basing on frozen fruit and juices. These were just the first smoothies, and this teenager is the founder of one of the most well-known American company producing smoothie as well as healthy food.
And so now after 40 years that invention turned up on the Polish market. Try it and enjoy the taste of fruit.
